Teach the Teacher Ignite is an extended model designed to support schools with a low SES population, diverse student population or an alternative learning setting. This program allows for a more bespoke model of delivery, multiple training sessions and ongoing support from VicSRC to ensure schools successfully deliver the program.

Students are empowered to have a greater say in decisions that affect their learning and their lives at school, and are given the tools to engage the wider student body to give all students a chance to be heard.

It involves a commitment to listen to the voices of students, to take their concerns seriously, and to build student-teacher partnerships for school improvement. It helps develop, enable and clarify student voice to enhance teaching, learning, communication and respect.
